We have been building superior palapas since 2005, in 2003 my wife Jennifer and I purchased palapas from our now competitor they ended up falling apart a year after purchase. After numerous phone calls to resolve we went to our garage and started to build what is now known today as the “Baja Palapa” and well the rest is history. Baja Palapas Inc. became established in 2006, which is also when we obtained our California Contractors license 885590 for Baja Palapas Inc. We specialize in constructing custom and commercial palapas, also in re-thatching, repairs, installations, thatch sales, and we are also licensed by Cal Fire to spray fire retardant and issue a state cert for your palapa.
