They say this castle resembles the Neuschwanstein castle which started construction in 1869 however, the Eltz castles construction began in 1157 so I’d say it’s the other way around. Parking is 4 E… Full review by AM M

can I see the castle early in the morning before opening hours? not to see inside the castle, but to just walk up there. would I be able to take the bus that early to the carpark?

You can hike up to the castle in the morning , but I don’t think the parking area is open outside of the operating hours.
