Even if you are not a Dambo troll fans, this is a lovely area to bring kids, especially the play space. A moderate hike to see the trolls for a senior citizen like me would be pretty easy for average… Full review by anni a

There are 3 different traits that get you to the giants. A map of the trails will be given to you at the gate. You will pass on the way to the parking lot at the gift center. It’s a reasonably short walk from the gift center to see one. You can drive to the next one as it’s not far from where you will park. The 3rd one can be reached by a trail close to where you parked the second time. Let’s say it’s a bit of a walk to get to that one(maybe close to a half mile). Perhaps an hour and a half see all three. Some folks park at the gift center and walk to all three. They are more energetic than I am. Google Bernheim Forest to see the map if available online. Safe travels.

A:
I don't recall many roads going through the areas where we were strolling/hiking.

Yes, there is a "trail." Follow the giant's "footprints painted on the pavement near the parking sites and then follow the signs leading into forested areas where the giants are located. There are also flags which serve as directional guides. Be sure to pick up a map when you arrive. We took our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter when we visited. We had to carry her some, but for the most part she did well. Take water as fountains are few in number on the trail.
