We did not hike far because the heat got to us fairly quickly, but we wanted to do this hike because it looked beautiful from the start. The color is just beautiful and was worth even a small peak. Full review by 922dlp
Planning on taking an RV from Las Vegas to Yosemite in September 2020. Have visited Death Valley before, so have seen Badwater, Zabriskie, Mesquite dunes etc already. Want to visit the North of the park, see the lesser known sites. Will Eureka be accessible in a 30 ft RV, assuming optimal conditions? Have seen conflicting advice on various forums! Would planning to drive from Las Vegas to furnace creek, then next day to Eureka, then next day onwards on to Lee Vining area or do the whole drive to Yosemite.
