This is a colorful walk (but Artist’s Pallet is better). Lots of people, but the trail is quite wide. There is enough shade to keep yourself cool as you walk. Full review by msa23_2000

According to AllTrails, the Golden Canyon/Gower Gulch Loop between Zabriskie Point and the Valley is the number one trail in the park. However, the round trip is 6.4 miles. We only had time for one… Full review by Grover R

We did not hike far because the heat got to us fairly quickly, but we wanted to do this hike because it looked beautiful from the start. The color is just beautiful and was worth even a small peak. Full review by 922dlp

Planning on taking an RV from Las Vegas to Yosemite in September 2020. Have visited Death Valley before, so have seen Badwater, Zabriskie, Mesquite dunes etc already. Want to visit the North of the park, see the lesser known sites. Will Eureka be accessible in a 30 ft RV, assuming optimal conditions? Have seen conflicting advice on various forums! Would planning to drive from Las Vegas to furnace creek, then next day to Eureka, then next day onwards on to Lee Vining area or do the whole drive to Yosemite.

no we took a soft top Mustang and put our luggage on the back seat. Looked like we had passengers :)

Planning to camp there in January, but coming from far away, how likely is it that the camp sites will be taken?
A:
No need to worry about space to camp there, especially in January. It can get cold; I've seen 13deg F one New Year's day.
