Laguna Heights is a census-designated place in Cameron County, Texas, United States. The population was 962 at the 2020 census, significantly down from 3,488 at the 2010 census. Laguna Heights was struck by a high-end EF1 tornado on May 13, 2023, which caused major damage to properties, killed one person, and injured 11 others.
