This is a must experience when visiting the south, it is a fine example of inequality and injustice! Must have been a bitter pill to swallow. John was our guide and he was excellent! Full review by Eithne C

This was a beautiful home but only 1 chair per room for sitting. And the stairs to get upstairs no thank you. There was access with less stairs but just not handicapped accessible Full review by linny7272

You cannot see the house well from the main road. The tour is worth it. The mystic of the house is inside looking at the unfinished floors

Thank you for replying. I have since found out, a lot of the homes are closed on Mondays. I will try again tomorrow. Hopefully we can get a tour.

The Longwood tour was right under one hour. We also toured Monmouth Inn and Gardens, also an hour. Gardens are self guided and not part of the house tour on both. We missed …

The Longwood tour was right under one hour. We also toured Monmouth Inn and Gardens, also an hour. Gardens are self guided and not part of the house tour on both. We missed Stanton Hall by 10 minutes but heard it’s well worth seeing. Hope this helps! Tracy

Around 40 minutes. All tours of the house are guided but you are free to wander the grounds at your leisure.

We just turned up and went on the next available tour it was fairly quiet when we went. There's plenty of grounds to walk around and a little shop to browse while you're waiting
