Hi, Pigeon Island is a beach area, with a national park. Beach is fabulous, white sand, crystal clear water, just beautiful, a couple of eateries, local cuisine and local drinks, so nice and relaxing, I would absolutely recommend this beach and the national park, which is open all day until around 5pm or 6pm if I remember correctly. The national park is a lovely day out with lots of walks, picnic areas and a lovely hidden restaurant, and a private beach with sun loungers, the snorkelling is just lovely! :)

we will be coming from st james morgan bay and want to take the bus. does the bus take you right to the national park entrance or just to central Rodney bay and then we would need to make our way to the park? is there a specific bus # to go right to the entrance? also are there washrooms in multiple spots in the park or just near the restaurant?
A:
Hi. We were on a cruise and took a taxi to the location. I'm sorry I can't give you any details about the national park as we did not go. The beach is nice and clear and would recommend this.

I just double checked the price of the 1A bus. It was $3EC/$1.15US per person each way & took around half an hour.
