Is there enough to see/do for 2 days? My mom and I are planning a trip and I am wondering if two full days (Saturday and Sunday) is too much, or if we can see everything in one day.

Yes, there are lots of photo opportunities and though I just had my phone camera and used that, there were also a lot of professional-looking cameras with people taking photographs. I would just say that if you’re taking photos of other guests (as opposed to the people who work at the faire) that you should ask permission. There are lots of great costumes!
Sorry no clue with large animals on site I doubt it but can't say for sure. I don't think personally you should bring them for safety reasons but maybe call or go on their website.
Its a little bit cheaper at Menards, at 20 and 9, might be worth buying there. Season tickets are fun too if willing to camp near the faire, after party gets fun
