You can visit the park in your own car ( there is normally a charge) and if you are lucky you might see Bears but that will depend on the bears ! We were lucky to see one on the way to the park and one in the park. There is of course no guarantees and you need to follow advice on being close to Bears .

Hello, unfortunately the Park will be closed on September 5. Our last day of summer operations will be September 1, 2019, after that, we are starting to get the Park ready for the winter season (late November to early April).
We are planning on travelling to Whistler from Australia with two children in April 2019 and we were hoping to confirm when the tobogganing park season at Whistler Olympic Park typically ends? We are just about to book our flights and accommodation and this will help us with our travel dates.

it is spring and season ends is snow dependent. March 23 and still open, but the water is warm and have not heard when the park is closing.
