I'm trying to decide if I should do a middle fork rafting trip mid-June. I'm concerned about it being too cold. I did the Grand Canyon rafting trip last May and we were freezing the entire trip. Can anyone who has rafted the middle fork in June let me know when and what the air and water temperatures were. Thank you.

Thanks for contacting us in regards to our river trip on the Middle Fork of the Salmon. It is a perfect trip for multi generation families. In late Aug , the water levels are low which makes it for an easy ride with lots of opportunities for swimming, floating and fishing. We have an open trip on Aug 18-23 that we can run for your family as a private trip. Feel free to give me a call if you want more details on this one of a kind adventure.
