Is there a fee to see the maras salt fields ? If so how much and can I purchase it when we get there?
A:
Symbolic fare to be payed at the entrance Save the ticket because they are going to ask for it again. Don’t recall how much it was but it wasn’t a big deal.

maras salt fields to moray ruins is about 10 Kilometers if you want to walk the established dirt road. It would be an easy trek about 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. you can take a break and Explore the town center of Maras. you can also take shorter routes along foot trails. use maps to establish your route. I suggest you bring a car or take an ATV since it is hot and there is very little shade along the dirt road route.
