What time does the North Ave parking lot open and is it available to park at during the air and water show on Aug 18th?
A:
I’m not sure about the parking lot, but air and water show is extremely busy. I would recommend parking by an “el” stop and take the train there

The beach is absoulty free. I would take my car and not the train. Union Station is some distance away. I used Spot Hero to get a cheap parking spot only a block away.

Just want to show her what it's all about.

Unless you're from Siberia I wouldn't recommend you hang around for too long.
