Heroes acre is an official war memorial located in the Auas mountains about 12 km from Windhoek centre. The inauguration took place on 26-08-2002. Impressive monument, worth a visit Full review by 208erwinh

Hi Rebecca, as promised, i went there yesterday N$ 20 adult N$ 15 children 17 and below Car N$ 100 i hope this help you:-)

Can I walk there from town centre
A:
You can but i would think it is too long a walk that is a few Kilometers about 7 to 10. I would drive there and keep the walking for at the Hero's Acre. It is just outside the built up area
