By signing Humphries to a one-year deal, Brett Veach and Andy Reid aren't wasting their time licking stamps. Humphries' addition shows the Chiefs aren't going to cross their fingers and hope that the situation at left tack resolves itself, they're doing everything possible to improve the situation.

According to a report from Fox Sports NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Kansas City is signing former Pro Bowl offensive tackle D.J. Humphries. The 30-year-old offensive lineman who played collegiately at Florida has started 98 career games in eight NFL seasons, all of which came with the Arizona Cardinals.
