I-4 reopens near downtown Orlando after crash

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash on Interstate 4 in Orlando is causing major delays near State Road 408. The crash happened Wednesday afternoon in the eastbound lanes. Traffic cameras in the area show an RV camper attached to a pickup truck across several lanes and traffic backed up as crews work to clear the lanes.

A crash in Orange County has shut down a section of Interstate 4 just before downtown Orlando. The crash, which is impacting the eastbound lanes, is just before mile marker 83 (South Street). At last check, traffic was starting to pile up as far back as Michigan Street.

A crash stopped traffic early Wednesday on a stretch of Interstate 4 in Volusia County. Florida Highway Patrol reported the crash on the westbound lanes of I-4 near Debary shortly before 2 a.m. FHP’s website noted the injury crash happened near mile marker 109. As of 5:30 a.m., officials were still reporting the roadway was blocked.
