The main competition for the award is Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers and Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. Bowers is having a great season, but this is a quarterback-driven league, and the battle between Nix and Daniels will lead to the ultimate winner. Not to mention there has never been a tight end to win the award.

Broncos QB Bo Nix was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week, the Air Player of the Week and the Rookie of the Week.

Nix was the NFL's Offense Rookie of the Month in October and last week he won the league's Offensive Rookie of the Week award coming off a loss at Arrowhead, where he outplayed star Patrick Mahomes in Week 10.

Denver Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix is firmly in the mix for NFL offensive rookie of the year and made NFL rookie history. Denver coach Sean Payton compared Nix to legendary NFL quarterback Drew Brees.

For the season Nix has 295 yards rushing and four touchdowns, and he caught a pass for a touchdown.
