A golden eagle in Scotland has been killed by a wind turbine, the first recorded incident of its kind in the area.

Golden eagle died after ‘wind turbine strike’, investigation finds - The pathological investigation was carried out by the Veterinary Investigation Centre at Scotland’s Rural College in Dumfries.
