Two workers were rescued from a trench at a construction site along Cherry Creek Trail on Tuesday morning, according to South Metro Fire Rescue.

CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Crews with South Metro Fire Rescue are working to rescue two people from a trench in Centennial. Both were trapped inside the trench at a construction site on the Cherry Creek Trail near South Parker Road and East Broncos Parkway, South Metro Fire said in a social media post.
