This week, Americans will celebrate Thanksgiving again. We have done so annually on the last Thursday in November since 1863. It has grown into one of our most anticipated and cherished holidays, kicking off a season of holidays that stretch to the new year.

Traditional American Thanksgiving acknowledges a feast shared between Pilgrims and Indigenous Native people. Today, we are supposed to celebrate Thanksgiving, which is part of the  “Broken Circle” corporate holidays.

Thanksgiving has been synonymous with things like turkey, food, Native Americans, pilgrims and much more for generations, but the day of thanks has been an ever-evolving holiday since it was first reportedly held before the United States existed as a country.

Every year, Americans go mad for Thanksgiving. While many American traditions have been embraced abroad, this is one day that's still a mystery to most Europeans. View on euronews
