The Chiefs are still the head of the AFC playoff picture, but the Steelers and Texans suffered losses in Week 12.

We all know what the big games are heading into each week, but quantifying just how big they are is where it really gets fun.

At top, nine teams have 90% chances or better of earning one of the 14 playoff slots, according to Next Gen Stats' playoff probabilities. Nine other teams have 1% or less chance of making the playoffs. That said, none of those teams are mathematically eliminated.

Through the first 12 weeks of the NFL season, we still haven't seen a single team clinch a playoff berth yet, but that could change this week.  Heading into Week 13, the Lions, Bills and Chiefs could all clinch a spot in the postseason if a few things fall into place for them.

The AFC playoff picture is taking shape after Week 11. The Chiefs still lead, while the Steelers and Ravens made significant separation.

The NFL playoff picture is heating up as we head into Week 12, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are making a strong case as legit contenders.

The AFC had a major shake-up after the thrilling Week 11 slate, even if not much changed in the standings. The Kansas City Chiefs are no longer the lone unbeaten, as the Buffalo Bills own the head-to-head tiebreaker over them for home-field advantage in the playoffs.
