Feb 26, 2022 · Thankfully if you play the PS4 version on PS5 you get a steady 60 fps without looking too much worse than the PS5 native performance mode, which has lots of frame drops that look kind of ugly with Sony so far refusing to support FreeSync or HDMI 2.1 VRR. I feel bad for anyone who bought PS5 physical though since they won't have the PS4 BC option.

Apr 4, 2021 · Started DS 3 again on the Ps5, just to look how it runs and man! It's hard to play BB after DS 3 on the 5. Everything seems so blurry from further distance and when you move the camera around. Now imagine DS3 and BB 60 frames with such sharp textures, lighting and the weapon feel from DS Remake 🤗

Jul 10, 2021 · I got my PS5 today and installed the Dark Souls 3 Ps4 - The Fire Fades Edition on it, The game looks great, smooth 60 fps and the particle effects like from spells look way better than on my ps4pro. Looks also like it has better anti aliasing. I have seen some summon sings of red and white phantoms.

Nov 18, 2020 · Yeah, I think it’s because DS3 got a patch on the PS4 Pro so that it can run at an uncapped frame rate and so with the PS5 being much more powerful than the Pro that patch allows it to run at a smooth 60.
