Oct 27, 2021 · In the manual it states; "Unleaded gasoline with a Pump Octane Number (PON) of 91 or higher is recommended. Use of lower octane gasoline can cause occasional metallic knocking noise in the engine and will result in decreased engine performance. Use of gasoline with a pump octane less than 87 can lead to engine damage.

Feb 25, 2022 · According to the information they gave me at the time of purchase, Acura of Wichita charges $131 for rear differential service and they recommend it get done once per year. Just for kicks, I typed in B16 on their service site and it is $189 for the service. It includes oil and filter change, tire rotation and rear differential service.

May 25, 2016 · alright guys.. about a TUNER.. spoke with KTuner as mentioned on the other page.. they said they can do 2015-2016 V6 TLX's if anyone's interested.. price is $449 or $649 but it's a tune yourself set up which i'm not sure i'd know enough to be able to use it and at $649 for an obII plug in device it's kinda steep.

Aug 11, 2023 · Transmission shifting Issues. 2018 V6 SH Advance. Everyone here knows about the 2015 - 2020 TLX 9-speed transmission downshift lag. I won't get into that except, yeah, it's real and it's a PITA. Sport+ helps, but nothing else so far has provided a long-term solution. Two program updates, and a couple of transmission resets. Same issue.

Apr 19, 2017 · I have a new 2017 TLX, with 1,800 miles on it. I suddenly got a simultaneous warning on the dashboard screen of an emission control problem and a parking brake malfunction. Both show up with a bright alarm. It was preceded about 15 miles prior with a sudden freeze of the car whil pulling out of a parking space going less than one mile per hour.

Jul 26, 2021 · Honda reequires 87 octane regular for the V6 and Acura "reccomends" 91 octane Premium. The only difference I see in specs is 10hp and 5 ft-bl torque. I went with the Micheline Pilot Sport AS3s and I am very happy with them. The are definitely quieter than the no-flats that were on it before but, more importantly, the traction is excellent.

Nov 9, 2023 · The recall is not showing up on their website yet. You have to call 1-888-234-2138 to find out if your vehicle is affected. Sorry to say, if you have a V6 2015-2020, you are probably affected. You will not receive notice in the mail until probably January when they have a claims procedure for the dealerships.
