I plug it in, and the charger LED in the magnetic connection turns on white, but the lightning bolt does not appear on the battery icon in the tray. And indeed, the batteries are not charging (percentages gradually decrease).

Aug 10, 2018 · If the battery is indeed shot Microsoft doesn't replace the battery, they would need to replace the full unit and they do not make Surface Pro 3 anymore so you would get a Surface Pro 4 for $599 It might be best to buy a new computer at this point if that is indeed the case.
