May 19, 2014 · I think we're talkin about Co2 tanks.. not propane, unless blue rhino fills co2 where you live. I own 4 propane tanks and get them filled to the brim at my BJ's warehouse store for pretty good pricing. Co2..I just use whoever services my nitrogen and welding tanks at my work.

Jun 8, 2011 · You'll need to buy the tank, but check out your local fire supply store for cheap refills. Lots of places to buy empty tanks online - a new 5 lb tank might run you $60 shipped. (It's not that big/heavy so shipping isn't much) I can't imagine saving that much on a used tank to make it worthwhile, unless you really want a huge one.

For compressed air, it's possible for oxidation in the tank to reduce the amount of oxygen, possible byproducts are CO2 and CO which is really bad if you're depending on the air to stay alive. Steel tanks are more likely to have a problem than aluminum.

Most gas places want to take your tank and give you theirs filled. I don't want this. I bought a new Co2 tank and I just need a place where I can get my own tank filled.

Jul 15, 2013 · Don't remember the name but there is a place in Southie near gillettes that does refills. That's where my G.F. used to get mine refilled before I got rid of my kegging equiptment and co2 tank. I think they were a welding supply IIRC.

If both kegs are drained of gas as well as the CO2 tank then your leak involves one of the connections to the keg (corny lid or the gas post/poppet/gas disconnect/gas line). It's unlikely it's the gas line connection to the regulator or CO2 tank. Spray them down with soapy water, crank up the psi, and look for it.
