Oct 16, 2019 · The attached wiring diagram is when a Powermax45xp, 65, 85, 105 or 125 equipped with a machine torch will interface to a PlasmaCam table. If a plasmacam table is equipped with a hand torch, then you must use the PlasmaCam cable and wire the start and the raw arc voltage according to their specs using their cable.

Dec 25, 2007 · Because PlasmaCam is all proprietary components, meaning there is not much chance for you to just "plug in" Mach. You would basically be buying a bunch of angle steel bolted together for 3500 bucks. If you buy it as-is, then you are still left with the software transfer fees and perhaps finding out WHY it was left in storage for so long.

How to tell the difference in PlasmaCam machines?
Jan 25, 2011 · I am looking at a used PlasmaCam rig and am wondering how to tell the difference between a 98z, DHC, or DHC2? The shop that has it does not have a lot of information on it other than it is blue and it is a plasmacam. The price is right but I don't really have a day to waste looking at it if it is a 98Z without torch height control.

Feb 1, 2018 · The new DesignEdge software is about $2K, but that does NOT include all of the upgrades that ADD the features that were included in the old original 3.11 software. PlasmaCam removed everything, and now sells the individual upgrades independently, mostly for the magical price of $998.00 each.

Aug 3, 2010 · There are 3 different iterations of the PlasmaCam machines....the earliest ones...called the Model 98Z....had issues with belts wearing out rather quickly. The belts were easy to change (5 minutes) and were cheap (about $3).....so most users did not panic too much. PlasmaCam has not built the 98Z for over 10 years.

Nov 2, 2009 · Yeah, Plasmacam's customer service has a lot to be desired. For the non-conductive caps, we just use a piece of metal cut the width of the terminal so the terminal plugs onto it. The length is a couple of inches so it reaches down farther than the tip. We use a hose clamp to secure it.
