Aug 13, 2023 · I have scored some Docofil and Pui Belle bedding at Homegoods/TJ Maxx. 100% Portuguese cotton blankets and they are amazing. If you see those brands, they’re worth a second look. Sometimes they’ll have the nicer end Ralph Lauren sheets and I usually snag those up. Same with the Calvin Klein 100% combed cotton sheets.

Are T.J. Maxx, Marshall’s, etc. actually good for anything?
Feb 5, 2023 · TJ Maxx is good for skin care (need to know what you are looking for and browse frequently- can save 1/2 price or more on certain brands vs ulta or online...good for hair products too); also good for cookware (again, know what you arr looking for, but the stainless steel pots I have bought are holding up fine 5 years later)

i find TJ Maxx/Ross/Marshalls not that cheap nowadays. If you have a Burlington in your area, that has been my go-to since things reopened after the pandemic. also, if you have a university/community college nearby check to see if they do surplus sales. my local university often has higher quality/solid furniture and fixtures for dirt cheap

Truth is: $100 absolutely won’t get you legit, quality bedding unless you’re shopping used on EBay. The cost of organic cotton (what “grownup” sheets are made of) combined with the skill in making them is whats costly. You get what you pay for and bedding isn’t any different than a dupe fast fashion knockoff of a luxury item.
