Aug 21, 2021 · The world of Adventure Time is one without lessons or consequences. I wonder how that will change as the show continues. Overall I enjoyed my time with season 1 of the show, but I’m hoping that season 2 will bring in some of the interesting lore and character moments that Adventure Time is famous for.

The Enchiridion!: This is the most "season 1" feeling episode, but in a really good way. I adore this one. I do have some minor criticisms, mostly relating to the fact that Cinnamon Bun destroyed the tower - it felt weirdly cartoonish (yes I know it's a cartoon, but I'm saying this feels like it breaks the in-universe adventure time rules.

Sep 1, 2020 · yeah, definitely - it's not that season 1 is bad, cause it isn't, but it IS pretty different, tone-wise, to the rest of the show. IMO it starts off a bit hit-or-miss, starts to find its feet in season two, and it's in full swing by the end of season 2/early season 3, if that makes sense.

This was the sneak peek episode in 2010 and I was like 8 or 9 and this episode disturbed me so much that I avoided the show until around season 3. I was also under the impression that it was an adult cartoon because when Finn said “get your axe” it kinda sounded like “get your ass”.

Aug 19, 2018 · There was no official cutoff. But modern Adventure Time outnumbers classic AT for sure. In my opinion, the start of modern Adventure Time is in Season 5.2. Funny come to think of it, since Season 5.2 is smack dab in the middle of the show's run. But there's a much bigger difference between season 1 and S5.2, than between S5.2 and the ninth season.
