Apr 14, 2020 · Expand Battery. Right-click on 2 battery drivers available and select "uninstall device". Once done,restart your Surface and check if the battery 1 is already charging. If it's still not charging, please run the battery report so we can further check if it's indeed a hardware battery issue already.

I plug it in, and the charger LED in the magnetic connection turns on white, but the lightning bolt does not appear on the battery icon in the tray.
