Feb 9, 2011 · The new "Design Edge" by Plasmacam software is now available. It will import and vectorize bitmaps, tiffs and jpegs. It will also import dxf and gcode. You can trace and use a drawing tablet. Text can be placed on an arc or inside a shape like a banner or perspective. Text can automatically be stenciled.

Jan 2, 2015 · Anyhow, I'm looking for the old 3.11 software. I see theaton1 said he might have copies he was willing to share. I'm happy to pay for it. I do not want design edge regardless of how great many think it is. I have an Autocad seat I use for 2D drawings, I'm also quite proficient in fusion 360 and have no need for another $2k software package.

Software Comparable to DesignEdge? - PlasmaSpider
Nov 24, 2018 · The software can be used to generate G code to run another brand table but their direct CAM control only works with their tables. I know of no other software exactly comparable to Design Edge but several options such as Enroute that do a good job for the CAD and then Sheetcam and Mach3 for the table.

Dec 18, 2024 · I bought my DHC2 tables back in 2017 and at that point they all shipped with basic Design Edge software. There was (and is) an additional charge the Height Control, Advanced Height Control, Advanced Design, Advanced Machine Control, Automatic Nesting, 3D Capability, Pipe Cutting, Metric Units, and Customizable Size ($995 each).
