Jan 12, 2016 · I have had the Makita 8 1/2" table saw. It is the olive green in color. And I had the Rosseau table with it. It was stolen from our tool trailer on a job site. One of the best jobsite saw table combinations I ever had. We could do alot of great work with that saw. very accurate for a portable saw. The 8 1/2" blade was the edge.

Table saw adjustment hard and slow to use - Woodworking Talk
Jun 18, 2020 · Someone gave me a Makita 2708 Table saw. The adjustment knob is hard and slow to use.. I put some oil onthe screw and it is better but still hard to use. What would people recommend to remedy the situation. I was thinking that it may help a little to get a hand wheel instead of the saw but I don't think that is the main solution..

Dec 8, 2013 · Just seems like the price is between the Bosch and the Makita and it looks pretty stout! Pretty sour reviews on the Makita. BYW, and great reviews for the Bosch. It's not the same model as my 4000, but the smaller. lighter one we have over here. I used my Bosch 4000 to cut 1/16" X 1/16" tongues on some 1/4" laminated flooring and it work fine.

Making a Crosscut Sled - Woodworking Talk
Jan 1, 2015 · I went to put the sled on our table saw only to find it did not fit. The miter bars are 3/4 but our saw, a Makita 2708, has 5/8 slots. Sadly we had to bring the Rockler back. For the past six months I have been going over videos on how to make your own sled. My concern though in doing this was I would not be able to cut the bars straight enough.
