Aug 12, 2006 · After sealing the pump (made a paper gasket and this stopped the leak) it still takes a long time to build up fuel pressure. I have a new fuel pump with a large bowl (automatic with air type) and the fuel filter is quite large (clear plastic type ~2 inches in diameter).

I am going to use the current efi fuel pump in the tanks Inc tank that is currently putting out 60+ psi and I need to bring it down to 5 - 10 psi for the carb.

Jan 31, 2005 · One 49 state tank and one CA emissions tank (NA-9). 49 state unit has a fuel feed line from sender and a vented cap. A return line is present on some models and will go through the sending unit. An NA-9 set up will have a sealed gas cap and the three vent lines in the tank body. It will also have a fuel vapor separator and a charcoal canister.
