The sales guy told me they don't have any copies of the old software to sell, then laughed and told me I shouldn't have bought a ten year old machine.

Feb 9, 2011 · The new "Design Edge" by Plasmacam software is now available. It will import and vectorize bitmaps, tiffs and jpegs. It will also import dxf and gcode. You can trace and use a drawing tablet. Text can be placed on an arc or inside a shape like a banner or perspective. Text can automatically be stenciled.

Jul 28, 2016 · No, the 3.11 software was not updated. The NEW software, "DesignEdge" is really great, but it means you will need to bite the bullet and purchase it. Now, the RUMOR is that PlasmaCam is creating a DHC to DHC2 upgrade kit. I do not know what this will include. I assume it will be a major upgrade, and knowing PlasmaCam, it will come at a major price.

Nov 24, 2018 · PlasmaCam and Design Edge forces you into an exclusive marriage between table and software. Different tables are not allowed and no drawing software I know of dovetails between the table operation and drawing application like DE does seamlessly.
Need old plasma cam install disc - PlasmaSpider
May 2, 2018 · I couldn't activate the software until PlasmaCam received a proof of tranfer of ownership which I emailed them a copy and got it activated the same day. On July 2, 2019 one of my (3) back-up computers went down so I had to uninstall and reinstall the DesignEdge software on another of my back-up computers.

Oct 18, 2014 · Click on the download attach. Say OK to down load. This will put it in your download files, then go to your down load files ( should be an arrow in the upper right hand corner). Double Click on the file and open it (my computer ask me if I?m sure I want to do this. ) It will first tell me it cannot recognize the file, just hit OK.
