You set that on the race options screen, not on the leaderboard display. Two points: 1. The coding that checks so as to give the world record award ..is broken.

It also boasts in infield road course that is used by many race leagues like open wheel cars, sport cars, motorcycles, etc, etc. Something on that level, with different track layouts, would be great for online racing in GTA IMO. It would not have to be 2 miles, maybe 1 mile or .75 miles.
