Where did this idea that WWIII started in 2026 and spanned
Mike Sussman wrote the graphic which is the first and only time World War III was stated to begin in 2026. My belief is that he took it from the part of the Star Trek Chronology that described Colonel Green as being from the "early 21st century" (in fact, The Savage Curtain only says "21st century"), and figured 2026 is much closer to the early part than 2053 (mid-21st century).
