Sep 27, 2023 · I don’t own a Model 12, but years ago I did buy for $200 a 1972 Model 1200 Riot shotgun that was a former Law Enforcement shotgun. (See crude engraving on the receiver). I had previously purchased for $200 a vintage M1200 “trench gun” heat shield/bayonet part.

Jun 30, 2019 · For those not familiar the DP-12 is a double-barreled pump-action shotgun made by Standard Manufacturing, my guess being it works much the same as a regular pump gun, but, with 2 barrels and magazine tubes chambering 2 rounds at a time, that can be fired consecutively, then the slide racked to load another 2 rounds, not really my cup of tea ...

Mar 19, 2013 · Striker 12 with 12" barrel. If you can't do the job with 12 rounds of 12 gauge then you should have brought a belt fed! Our point guys in 'Nam did amazing work with cut down barrel shotguns.

Nov 9, 2024 · I placed 25th out of 44 shooters overall and 4th out of 11 in Heavy Metal division (12 gauge pump, 8 round max magazine capacity). Other than my short strokes it ran great all day, doing double duty since I loaned it to a squad member whose brand new BPS would triple feed. Some quick videos for any interested.

Jul 29, 2024 · The trigger on striker fired pistols feels like I'm tripping a mousetrap. I prefer hammer fired, either DAO or SAO. As long as every pull is the same, I'm good with it. I prefer steel frames, but I have a pair of polymer framed Beretta .45's. They are hammer fired DAO. They are excellent beater pistols for field use.
