It's a two month old Surface Pro 7 i5 (no fan) version, I have it connected via HDMI/USB C to a 27" external monitor, bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and almost all the time just have maybe six tabs open on Edge, looking at PDFs while a Youtube video plays to the side.

Jul 22, 2021 · If you want to use the Surface Dock (or any for that matter) to drive 2x 4K@60Hz displays, the dock or MST hub must be DP 1.4 spec'd. Dock1 is not, but Dock2 is - if you want to use the Surface Dock with a Pro7/Laptop3/Book3 or newer device that supports DP 1.4 and drive 2x 4K@60Hz natively through the DisplayPort / USB-C ports, you need a Dock2.

Oct 31, 2020 · In a device like a Surface, this could be the source of screen yellowing, but it could also just be a bad panel. My daughter had a Surface Pro 3 panel that yellowed on the left in the first year. Also, the Surface Pro 4 had lots of thermal issues when it was first released.
