Only now, I’ve read how this time the disk on the 256Gb model will come in a single package instead of 2x128 (similar to M2 base MacBook Airs).

The next tier at 256GB would have been plenty but, for roughly the same price, I could get the M1 iPad Pro refurb with 128GB. I happily sacrificed the 256GB down to 128GB to get a Pro and have not regretted that decision for a moment.
